About

About me
Hi, I’m Dr Megan Michaux, a certified lifestyle medicine practitioner and lifestyle coach, dedicated to helping people build sustainable habits that support longevity, good quality of life, and overall well-being. My approach combines evidence-based strategies with practical, personalised guidance, enabling you to make lifestyle changes that truly stick.
I chose to certify in lifestyle medicine after seeing firsthand how powerful simple lifestyle changes can be. After years of poor sleep, little movement, and not prioritising nutrition, I began exercising again, cooking myself nourishing meals, and managing my stress. Within months, I felt more energised, more confident, and more capable – and, as my physical health improved, I experienced more daily joy. That journey shaped my belief that lasting health isn’t about quick fixes. Rather, it’s about understanding your body, your lifestyle, and your goals, then creating simple systems that make healthy living feel natural.
How do I work?
I focus on:
- Getting to know my clients so that all lifestyle advice is bespoke.
- Coaching that is evidence-based and sustainable.
- Providing supportive, non-judgmental accountability
- Techniques that fit real life: considering work schedules, family time, holidays, stress, and all the ups and downs that go with the real world.
- Empowering you with skills, resilience, and confidence for the future.
- Long-term changes are linked to habit-building within your own framework, and that usually means moderation. With that in mind, no foods are banned, no food groups are excluded, and any exercise that you enjoy can be included.
Whether you’re looking to improve your nutrition, boost your energy, manage stress, or develop an overall healthier lifestyle, I’m here to guide you step by step.
